Create a new folder somewhere on the computer

Open the folder in Vs code 

code vsCodeTutorial

Make sure you are in the Project directory, vsCodeTutorial. Use the command palatte

Command + Shift + P

to open a new .NET New Project, then ASP.NET Core Web Api

This .NET extension gives us the Solution Explorer view option
