2. Install after DMG Download

After Downloading the dmg, from here docs.docker.com
try running these commands, remember to put correct <PATH> of Docker.dmg 

sudo hdiutil attach Downloads/Docker.dmg
sudo /Volumes/Docker/Docker.app/Contents/MacOS/install
sudo hdiutil detach /Volumes/Docker
